Kool Facecloth from Kool Kotton


Yarn: Kool Kotton by James G. Brett
Needles: 4mm
Gauge: not important

Cast on 43 stitches
Knit for 5 rows - garter stitch border.
Row 6 - K5, *P3, K3, P3*, K5
Row 7 - K5, *K3, P3, K3*, K5
Row 8 - K5, *P3, K3, P3*, K5
Row 9 - K5, *P3, K3, P3*, K5
Row 10 - K5, *K3, P3, K3*, K5
Row 11 - K5, *P3, K3, P3*, K5

Repeat these 6 rows until the piece is almost a square (remember you will add 5 knitted rows for the garter stitch border).

K5 rows for the garter stitch border.
Cast off.

* .. * - repeat until the last 5 stitches

And that's it!

Fast and sweet.

In case you wondered, yes I know it's better to make facecloths from 100% cotton. But as this was a present for my grandmother, who will probably never use it, I just used what I had in my stash.
